My research focuses on Computer Mediated Communication (CMC), Creativity Support and Human-AI Collaboration, particularly on how alterations in voice and visual presentation influence self-perception and perceptions of others. I create and evaluate LLM-powered and VR-based interactive systems, combining system design, prototyping, and mixed-method user studies to evaluate how they shape user perceptions, social interactions, real world usability and trust. I received two Honorable Mention Awards at CHI 2024 and CHI 2021 as the first author 🏆.
I am currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, working with Prof. Daniel Wigdor. I also worked with Prof. Robert Xiao at the University of British Columbia.
Prior to this, I completed my Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, under the co-supervision of Prof. Joanna McGrenere and Prof. Dongwook Yoon.
